Little Monsters

Apologies, (again!) for having to take a small break. It's been a little crazy this past week.

I bought this beautiful kimono style jacket by the Berlin label MALAIKARAISS at the Journelles x Voo Store market two weekends ago (thanks to everyone that stopped by!), immediately pouncing on it after seeing the fabric and colour combination a mile away. Together with the much-loved Zara blouse, some Moxham hardcore bling and my timeless Céline sandals, this outfit has become a firm favourite and I'm not going to lie, I have worn it with only slight variations four times already. The psychadelic wall murals near my apartment are the perfect backdrop for my space suit.

I am wearing a MALAIKARAISS kimono, a Zara blouse, J-Brand jeans, Céline sandals and a Moxham bracelet

Parlez-vous Français?

In answer to my post title: no! Maybe two words: merci and au revoir. Does that count as three?

Apologies for not being able to reply to all the comments yet, my work has been super busy and I have a few projects running on the side that have been swallowing up a lot of my free time.

Thanks to a reader, Lena, I came across the menswear label Brooklyn We Go Hard (BWGH), and after googling where I could snap up this sexy jumper, I found it at Soto, which is just down the street from my work and also happens to be one of my favourite shops in Bärlin. If I were a man, which wardrobe-wise I am quickly turning into, I would most likely move in there and Band of Outsiders would become my sleepwear of choice.

Needless to say, my lunchbreak turned into a Soto pit stop, the result of which was this jumper gracing my shoulders.

Neon pumps, a pair of boyfriend jeans (I don't even remember what a pair of normal jeans fits like) and a little bit of collar swag sealed the deal.

I am wearing a BWGH jumper, a vintage shirt, Zara jeans and Christian Louboutin pumps (similar here).

Mummified

I have been dying a slow death and today was the first day I ventured out into the sunlight again. I felt a little bit like Smeagol overdosing on vitamin D. As you can guess, I was unable to avoid the customary winter flu (hence the silence on this blog) and even though it's offcially spring, there's no sign of it in Berlin. I still intend to enjoy today's glorious blue skies equipped with a scarf/blanket and countless layers.

I am wearing a Missoni coat, a Stefanel scarf, an H&M jumper, Zara jeans, Isabel Marant trainers and a Celine wallet

Seasonal Progression

Spring is definitely trying to bust its way through but winter is being a bit of a bastard and trying to hold onto a few more days. Therefore I'm helping the seasonal changes progress a little quicker with some white leather featuring denim inserts and functionally pointless zippers. That's just not winter appropriate.

I am wearing a Missoni coat, an Acne leather jacket, Zara blouse, Current/Elliot jeans, Acne boots (similar here) and a 5inchandup x Nelly clutch.

Granny Smith

Berlin is blanketed with silent, swirling snow (as am I) and those London daffodils are a distant memory at this point, as well as dresses and skirts. It's therefore no surprise that I'm back in my tracky bottoms (leather ones at least) and my "tough love" boots. This may be my ultimate office meets sofa look with a sleepy facial expression to boot. I first saw this jumper on Sabrina from afterDRK and fell for it hard, clicked it home and have worn it for two days straight (with probably two more to follow). Granny Smith is a very comforting colour when grey skies are perpetually looming over your head.

I am wearing a Zara coat, a Cos scarf, a Yep Collection jumper, Mango trousers, Balenciaga boots and an Issey Miyake bag.
