I have completely forgotten what the sea smells like and what temperatures above 15 degrees feel like – magical most likely. This blazer from Set whisks me away to those seaside days where I dipped my toes into the salty ocean and felt the sand swirl between my toes. Mentally I have already hopped onto the bandwagon of anything with stripes and when it comes in this beautiful, slightly crinkled cotton material with delicate blue lines, I immediately wanted to jump into my car with Hamish, drive to the baltic sea and eat lots of fish, all while feeling like a very posh sailor. Let's hope that daydream transfers into a realistic scenario in the near future.

In three days time I'll be making a first class idiot of myself at London Fashion Week (I still think I may have flashed a bum cheek in Milan while forcing my body to contort into an unnatural position in order to get a snap of Mira parading down the concrete catwalk (yes the sidewalk, but I like my cheesy version more). Who knows, maybe there'll be more naked flesh presentations while in London, although the temperatures mean tights will be involved. I don't want a bladder infection after all.

As 95% of the female population has been doing, I have also been drooling over leather dungarees. Of course my favourites are sold out. Everywhere. I thought the Whistle's version was a long overdue wardrobe acquisition but squeezing into a size 6 is a feat I will most definitely not accomplish. On the other hand, J Brand's skin tight tuxedo legged duo is still winking at me cheekily from my-wardrobe's shopping basket, as is that perfect pair of leather skinnies.

All possible risk of baring an inappropriate cheek would be averted if one threw on those bits and pieces detailed above. I may have to consider, if only to preserve my dignity.

I'm still clinging onto whites and light greys. I'm not ready to wrap myself up in the inevitable darker colours that accompany winter just yet. We have been experiencing such a summery autumn that during the weekend I was still able to run around bare-legged (with the onset of stubble) wearing this wool and silk hybrid. This is one of the most beautiful dresses I own; the degradation of fabric coupled with the padded effect on top give it a ladylike, cyberspace appearance à la Tron (please tell me you know what I'm wearing referring to.)

Apart from that, I'm suffering from a mild case of braindead.

I am wearing an Acne cap, an Alexander Wang dress and a 3.1 Phillip Lim bag and shoes.

 

The thing I miss most about having such little free time is to just roam around Berlin and take photos of things I see. I've promised myself to start doing that again beginning this upcoming weekend. These photos are from Sunday where I combined a few of my favourite pieces, including my new, minimalistic 3.1 Phillip Lim clutch. Forget about storing condoms, blotting tissues, herpes cream or tampons in this one because all your dirtiest secrets will be revealed. One plus point: if you're particularly crabby one day, just point towards your bag and that tampon will silently explain everything. Thank God for the little gold nugget it comes with as it lets my chaotic self run at least a little rampant and keeps that private, which I don't need everyone to know (like stupid little love notes).  

I am wearing a vintage blazer, a Zara feather vest and shirt, Current/Elliot jeans, Balenciaga boots and a 3.1 Phillip Lim clutch.
