"That's all folks!" as Porky Pig would say. My final post of the Maldives, one of the most beautiful holidays I have ever been on. Dolphins, flower baths, champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries, stunning scenery and us not wanting to leave sums up these final photos quite well. So now I'll be taking you back to Berlin and outfit posts, at least visually. I have to give myself a much needed kick in the ass to start taking my camera around Berlin with me more often.

Das war's! Meine letzten Fotos von den Malediven, eines der schönsten Orte, an denen ich je war. Delfine, Blumenbäder mit Champagner, in Schokolade getauchte Erdbeeren, die wunderschöne Insel und, dass ich noch gar nicht zurück wollte, fassen diese Bilder wohl am besten zusammen, besonders das Letztere! Jedenfalls geht's mit meinen Outfitposts wieder los und auch mit meinen Berlin-Bildern. Da muss ich mir mal gehörig in den Arsch treten, die Kamera öfters mit mir rumzuschleppen.

 

 

More tropical paradise for your viewing pleasure. It's safe to say that me lying in various hammocks and eating my new found favourite snack: coconut shavings and honey was my number one activity...other than photographing plants and the ocean of course. Alasdair and I were always walking along the beach looking out for moving shells. The tiny crabs were so cute. One of my highlights from our trip was our dinner on the beach. So. perfect. How relaxed we felt while we were there was almost surreal. I have literally never been able to chill out as much in one week as I did on Kuda Huraa. It totally prepared me for going back to Berlin and work. I still have two more posts coming up so you better not be sick of the Maldives just yet!

Items I'm wearing: Acne blouse and sandals, vintage Levi's shorts, poncho thingy from Paris (forgot the brand name) and a Norma Kamali Bill bikini set.

 

I have what seems like a thousand more photos to sift through and edit, primarly of foliage. I was pretty obsessed with all the bright colours and intense greens that were prevalent throughout the island. In juxtaposition to the white sand and turquoise ocean it just looked like paradise and I couldn't put down my camera. Since we didn't do anything other than chill and occasionally catch crabs, I hope you won't get sick of seeing an abundance of tropical images, in this case in analog.

Random fact: Tony Blair was at the same resort while we were there. Imagine our surprise when he was sitting next to us by the pool area...
