The most appropriate attire for May Day don't you think? We'll see what happens when I parade Dollar print Bermuda shorts and a Wall Street-esque shirt down Berlin's riot filled streets. Maybe one day it will be women with sidecuts laying down the law at the stock market. Most likely in the most awesome, parallel universe.

Not my skateboard (found it leaning against a wall), not my shoes (Lea's). Unfortunately. But both are awesome. Is it weird that I take great enjoyment in the fact that the soles of the shoes match the wheels?
My kindergarten jumper has not received the seriously high amount of adoration it is due. Penguins, bow ties and pastel colours – how could I not have worn it more often?! My inner child goes into hibernation during the winter months and now that Spring has finally won the battle, it's busting through and making me take out my most childish pieces. Next destination: the playground.

Not to start sounding like a tape recorder but, I'M BACK. Really. Truly. Seriously. The flu hit me hard this time, in addition to the stress of moving but I beat both bastards. Here I am chilling in my new crib, covered in Isabel Marant's blood-red flower meets prison print that feels like a fist hitting winter hard in the face. The 90s flare cut would normally make me cringe, evoking images of Spice Girls gone wrong, but when it comes with fringed seams, even I can't control myself. I upped the ante by throwing in a strong dose of soft white, topped off with my angry muffins.

I have been dying a slow death and today was the first day I ventured out into the sunlight again. I felt a little bit like Smeagol overdosing on vitamin D. As you can guess, I was unable to avoid the customary winter flu (hence the silence on this blog) and even though it's offcially spring, there's no sign of it in Berlin. I still intend to enjoy today's glorious blue skies equipped with a scarf/blanket and countless layers.

Slush, drizzle, one degree weather and overcast skies. Reality has kicked in; I'm back in Berlin, knackered, with slightly greasy hair and wedding ringless (it has suddenly disappeared). London Fashion Week is over, at least for me, and Somerset House seems more like an adrenaline infused memory than something that actually happened just a few days ago. The comedown is now kicking in and it's all feeling a bit depressing. I never thought I would ever be able to partake in any of these events, even if mostly as an onlooked or behind the lens. Berlin, Milan and now London: sometimes it all still feels wonderfully surreal. For me the people themselves make Fashion Week so unbelievably exciting. Seeing old friends, making new ones and getting high on design in the process all makes it so worthwhile. Now, like an ostrich, I'm going to remove my head from the sand and readjust to work and normality. Less peplum, more TEDx. But don't worry, I'd like to leave you with an image unalike to today's greasy hair: my final Fashion Week outfit.
