Tartan Army

My love for Sotland meant that hopping on the tartan train was obviously going to happen and this Ganni coat is the perfect androgynous don't care blanket hybrid to throw on over pretty much anything. The more tartan the merrier, best incorporated as a scarf that has taken on a life of its own. The chance of an overdose is pretty much close to nil, which KTZ already demonstrated with its tartan army of models on the catwalk last year. All that is missing now is a pair of bagpipes for me to toot.

This pair of wool coated, neoprene drop-crotch pants by German label Rundholz remind of a forest gnome gone goth and are clearly on a whole other level of awesome. Gold accents, a mother of a hangover and this Moxham weapon of destruction hanging around my neck are the final touches to one of my first Fall outfits.

I am back in Berlin and have taken the shitty weather with me and am now getting some kind of plan together for my trip to Paris next week.

I am wearing a Ganni coat, an ASOS scarf, a Moxham necklace, a top by Tibi, trousers by Rundholz, Givenchy boots and a 3.1 Phillip Lim clutch.

My friend Jana and I have been staying on our London houseboat, which is proving to be the most unique way of experiencing this beautiful city starting with the unmatchable view we have by being situated right on the Thames. After a long night out last night my brain feels a bit like gin soaked scrambled eggs so I'm going to leave you with this outfit fitting to London's rainy weather featuring a new addition to my closet that I bought in Wiesbaden: this iconic Rick Owens jacket.

I am wearing a Rick Owens jacket, a Tibi top, an Anton Heunis necklace, a ring by Maria Francesca Pepe, trousers from Forever 21, Zara boots and a 3.1 Phillip Lim clutch.

A dress to match my breath, featuring garlic bulbs and genetically modified, white tomatoes. Asos marketplace has turned out to be a little treasure chest for all things freaky vintage and I thoroughly approve of this little 60s number featuring the kind of thick cotton that today's flimsy dresses don't compare to. The Isabel Marant Betty shoes have decidedly moulded themselves to my feet and refuse to be taken off. They are starting to look very much like a handful of wiltet flower bulbs that have seen slightly better days but I won't argue with them. The trail of freakyness continues over to the Craig & KarlxMCM wallet that is perspirating in between two sturdy walls of 3.1 Phillip Lim PVC.

I don't think I have ever looked this depressed while a butterly flew by.

I am wearing a vintage dress, Isabel Marant Betty trainers, a 3.1 Phillip Lim clutch and a wallet by Craig & KarlxMCM.

Fitting to today's acrobatic antics is today's tune: A Tribe Called Quest - I Left My Wallet in El Segundo. Get on it.

Slow-Motion Living

"Stop the glorification of busy." - A sentence I have been saying to myself countless times of the last week. Sometimes I get the feeling we forget to actually live, placing our work and sideprojects on a pedestal whose wobbly feet will eventually force everything to topple like a deck of cards. If your schedule isn't bursting at the seams, there is clearly something wrong with you. Ironically these three photos are the result of exactly that: a manic schedule this past week, shamefully so, but it will be easing up sometime soon. This is all being said without one ounce of glorification. I will be living in slow-motion during those little moments that I can grasp before the next thing is waiting to be done.

P.S. I had two shootings this past week and I can barely contain myself. I will post the results as soon as they can be released.

I am wearing a Rika leather jacket (on sale here), a 3.1 Phillip Lim shirt (similar here), H&M shorts, Sam Edelman boots (similar here) and a Celine bag.

I was born in February, one of the coldest, snowiest months of the year and to this day I remain an avid fan of winter and the peaceful atmosphere that goes along with it. Berlin has silently been blanketed under layers of snow for several days now, muffling footsteps and lending an air of mistery to each evening. Although, like every other person, I am longing for warmer temperatures, I still intend on enjoying the beauty that winter has to offer before it disappears for another 9 months (official, seasonal reference here). I feel far more in my element, buried under colourful layers, throwing some architectural cuts into the mix and floating on oreo cookie boots, accentuated by sickeningly picturesque, swirling snowflakes.

I am wearing an H&M x Stine Riis coat and an H&M Trend jumper, Sportmax trousers, Stella McCartney boots and a 3.1 Phillip Lim bag.
