The most rewarding aspect of blogging is the connections I have made and the incredible people I have had the pleasure of meeting. A short while ago, power-duo Kelley Mullarkey and Sean Stillmaker came to visit me all the way from London to shoot and interview me as a "Featured Mind" for their blog Majestic Disorder. I am deeply humbled by Kelley's incredible feature and Sean's wonderful video. Thank you for such an amazing Sunday. For those that have wondered what my voice sounds like (I hate hearing myself), the mystery is finally revealed, in addition to my private parts (accidental flashing, because that's what layers of tulle make you do).  Hopefully I'll be visiting them soon in London!

In this photo I am wearing my Asos tweed onesie and an H&M x MMM necklace.

This is me on Sunday roaming about Prenzlauer Berg with previous night's party hair, 5 hours of sleep and Christian from The Styleograph, wearing lilac minimalism and sleek lines. The whole dandy style has taken over and it's currently hard to get me out of a pair of brogues and suit trousers. The Celine purse only causes me to delve further into my Marlene Dietrich style obsession. It fits so perfectly with outfits a la Chloé.

I am wearing a Stine Riis x H&M coat, MMM x H&M jumper, Cos trousers, unknown brogues and a Celine bag.

Snakeskin Socks

My love for all things weird and wonderful in the world of fashion runs very deep. When the iconic shape of this Maison Martin Margiela boot was released in mesh with a perspex heel, I almost lost all my senses, regained them a week later though and decided it wasn't the perfect purchase. So I waited. After a few months I spotted these, featuring paper-thin, but durable burgundy leather and a covered perspex heel. The fact that they remind me of socks (or something akin to a second skin) and are semi-opaque only makes me love them even more.

I won't be surprised if these resonate with maybe only 10% of you. In fact, I'm expecting for almost everyone to hate them but let me know either way what you think, I'm curious :D. In order to present them in all their sock-like glory, I will be styling them with an all-black outfit, maybe even toting them around the Journelles party I will be heading to this evening.

Tweed on Tweed

I am obsessed with tweed. It is actually pure, genius coincidence that my boilersuit and coat are made of the exact same fabric. It's like a pair of twins separated at birth, joyfully reunited by me. Of course I could not allow for them to ever be separated again, that would be cruel.

This emotional aspect alone makes this, quite possibly, my favourite outfit concoction of all time. A see-through heel, a peek of bright, seasonally inappropriate colour thanks to this extremely versatile Zara blouse, and this grey bag with neon-orange trim (it goes so well with the removable coat collar) provided the final touches. I wish someone could-high five me on all these well thought out details.

Where did this mysterious specimen by Céline suddenly come from? I purchased it almost a year ago and it was stuck in customs until now, thanks to a faulty receipt. You can't imagine how tearfully happy I was when I was finally able to pick it up (there was a lot of hugging). After finding my way through a maze of administration, intimidating offices and having to wait for the person of authority to return from their two month vacation, we were finally united. Yes, it seems that those that work for a German governmental body are constantly on holiday.

I am wearing my trusty Carven coat, an Asos boilersuit, a Zara blouse, an H&M x MMM bracelet worn as a necklace, Chloé boots and a Céline bag.

A full on navy outfit is one of the chicest things I can think of. For some reason it speaks to me even more than all-black. Labelling this jumper as oversized is a slight understatement. It could probably function as a very posh, cashmere tent with multifunctional sleeves that transform into gloves, keeping me nice and toasty while cycling home from work. My trusty, tweed coat and metallic accessories rounds this off as one of my favourite outfits to date.
